TÜV Rheinland, a leading international certification body founded in 1866, annually verifies the compliance of Gold Chef products with European standards.
Giusto Manetti Battiloro is in possession of health authorisation No. CE IT AAE 090 5 for the production and packaging of edible gold and silver at the Campi Bisenzio (Florence) headquarters.
This authorisation was issued by the health department of Tuscany – Azienda USL Toscana Centro – in accordance with European legislation 852/2004 on the application of HACCP methodologies and EC Regulation 1331/2008.
NO-CONFLICT GOLD POLICY
The gold in the Gold Chef product line is no-conflict and responsible, and it comes from countries where there are no wars or human rights violations for gold procurement.
KOSHER PARVE CERTIFICATE
The rabbinate of the Jewish community of Livorno, after having certified that the production takes place in a closed circuit and does not come into contact with food prohibited by the Jewish Kashrut, has certified the Gold Chef edible gold and silver as suitable for use in Kosher cuisine, even during Passover.
